Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1 : Kunming, Includes dinner
Opon arrival, Xian Travel Service guide will meet you at the airport. Visit to the Dragon Gate which is a big exquisite stone carved edifice. Then transfer to the Bank Hotel Kunming.
Day 2 : Kuming, Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner
Have a full-day tour to Stone Forest by private car. It consists of limestone cliffs and peaks created by wind and water erosion 200 million years ago. Drive back to Kunming and visit the Flower and Bird Market in the afternoon. Overnight in Bank Hotel Kunming.
Day 3 : Kunming To Dali, Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner
In the morning, transfer to take flight to Dali.
Meet the guide and visit the Three Pagodas that are considered the symbol of Dali. Then visit the Bai Traditional House in Xizhou Village and explore the Dali Old Town in the afternoon. Overnight in Landscape Hotel Dali.
Day 4 : Dali to Lijiang, Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner
It takes about three hours' driving to Lijiang and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Yuhu Village, a village of Naxi minority with the former residence of Dr. Joseph Rock (An Austro-American botanist and explorer). Followed by the distinctive Baisha Mural Painting. Then explore the Lijiang Ancient Town, with its wooden structures, small rivers and lanes integrating harmoniously. Overnight in Jiannanchun Hotel Lijiang.
Day 5 : Lijiang, Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner
Drive to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain by private car. Take the cable car to Spruce Plateau and get close to this amazing Snow Mountain. Overnight in Jiannanchun Hotel Lijiang.
Day 6 : Lijiang, Includes breakfast
A full day is free for you. You could walk through the old town and take pictures. Or enjoy yourself with a cup of local tea in Square Street. Overnight in Jiannanchun Hotel Lijiang.
Day 7 : Lijiang to Shangri-La, Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner
Drive to Shangri-La in the morning and visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge, also view the First Bend of the Yangtze River on the way to Shangri-La.
Visit the Ganden Songzanlin Monastery which is the biggest monastery in Shangri-la in the afternoon.
Overnight Holy Palace Hotel Shangri-la.
Day 8 : Shangri-La, Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner
Have a full day to explore the Bitahai Lake, which is knowed as A Pearl on the Platea. Continue to visit a Tibetan family. You can taste Tibetan specialties of yak butter tea, local yogurt and Tibetan barley. Overnight Holy Palace Hotel Shangri-la.
Day 9 : Shangri-La to Kuming, Includes breakfast
Transfer to take the flight to Kunming. Continue to your departure flight, or alternatively extend your stay.
